For your consideration is a nice stereoview titled \"Alpine House, Gorham, N.H.\". This is a great image looking across the railroad tracks at the front of the Alpine House (see the sign over the entrance). Note the people on the porch and the horse and wagon stopped in front of the hotel. This has a nice 3D effect. There is a two cent tax stamp on the verso. The view was photographed by Bierstadt Brothers, New Bedford, Mass.There is a deep crease in the lower left corner of the left image along with corner wear to the mount and light overall soiling.
