ADORABLE ROYAL DOULTON BED TIME BEDTIME FIGURINE, HN 1978; EARLY MARK:

Maker: The adorable figurine called Bed Time, with its delicately pretty face and charming pose, is all the evidence you need to fall in love with Royal Doulton’s figurines: the finely detailed work, the wonderful design and the sheer beauty of the fine bone china make them irresistible.
Design and age: This little girl at prayer is dressed in a pure white nightgown. Her hair is matte; the rest of the figurine is glossy.
Designed by Leslie Harradine, Bed Time was produced between 1945 and 1997 and this figurine is from the earlier end of that range.
On the base is a green underglaze Royal Doulton mark with the designation HN 1978 and the English registration number 842481. The copyright date 1945 also appears.
Size and condition: The figurine is 5 3/4 inches tall and in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or stains. There is light wear to the raised points in the hair.
