A lifetime Meter Collection

This is my personal collection of meters. I\'m getting out of the radio restoration hobby and cleaning out a lifetime of parts collecting. There are really old meters here from the steam area, old airplane meters, weston, continental electronics, general electric, U.S. Navy, Western Electric, and Ingersol. Nearly all of these came out of old radios from the 40\'s and 50\'s or were bought at swap meets. If you\'re into this stuff, you know this is a goldmine and that a few of these are quite rare. I could sell them one at a time but I would prefer they all go to one home.

I put a fair price on these but am open to offers.

About Us

We sell antiques, collectables, clothes, oddities, household goods, records, and all sorts of fun things. We\'re an ordinary couple with full time jobs who love garage sales, sales, estate sales, consignment stores, and thrift stores. We are always on the hunt for unique, vintage, and beautiful items.

Shipping

Our items are well packed, generally in NEW boxes, with plenty of bubble pack and peanuts.

We prefer to ship with the post office, offering Priority or Ground service. Modern automated postal handling machines are not kind to fine antiques and collectables, and despite our best efforts at diligent packaging we have had items destroyed, and a few have simply vanished. For this reason we will not ship any item with a value greater than $25 without adding insurance. As has no way to do this, the insurance is added as a handling fee.

Large heavy items we ship UPS ground. As we live 15 minutes from the nearest UPS store please be patient with us when purchasing a large, heavy item.

Any of our items are available for pickup at our Pinckney Michigan location. If you choose to pickup, either pay on or bring cash, we do not take checks.

If the item shows up damaged, destroyed, or doesn\'t show up at all YOU need to work with us, and the post office (or UPS).

We get a lot of complaints about shipping costs. We don\'t know what shipping cost you were quoted. quotes the shipping cost using post office or UPS API\'s that return the rates. When you purchase the item, we buy the shipping from , print the label, and drop it off to the post office or the UPS store. Please don\'t ask us to \"reduce the shipping cost\" - we can\'t. It is not under our control. You can complain that \"our shipping cost is high\" and we will be happy to listen but there is nothing at all we can do about it. Please don\'t counter offer with \"X amount including shipping\" as we do not know what your shipping cost is.
We do know through extensive research that the rate you get online, the rate you get at the counter, and the rate you get using a bulk shipper for any given package size and weight are completely different. \'s bulk shipping rates are lower than at the counter rates because they have large volune purchase agreements with all the major shippers.

Warranty

Nothing we sell is new. These are used items. Everything is sold AS-IS unless explicitly stated otherwise.

For electronic items if they work will add a video of it working. We sell a lot of vintage electronic items that are 20, 30, 40, and even 80 years old, and they do not take kindly to being shipped. If it worked when it left our store, it worked when it left our store. If it doesn\'t work we will clearly state this in the description. Please, if you\'re buying vintage electronics READ THE DESCRIPTION. If it says \"For Parts or Repair Only\", or we indicate we couldn\' test it, and it doesn\'t work when it arrives, please don\'t demand we return it and threaten us with a negative review because it doesn\'t work. Read the Description, know what you are buying and everyone will be happy.

For Amatuer Radio gear that transmits we do not offer any returns.
