Up for your consideration is an excellent reproduction of a British General coat and hat representing the 7 years war and the American Revolution. This coat is heavy and is mostly hand made. Great for costume parties, Local theater plays and for uniform collectors. Hat is about a 71/8th or just a hair( pardon the pun) more. It would work will with a period men\'s wig.The coat is a large +. Length is 37\" bottom hem to top of the shoulder. 43.5 arm pit to arm pit. sleeves are cuff to shoulder is 26\".The coat has 44 silver type buttons all of which perform no function. Coat is closed via hooks and one hidden button at the bottom. The coat has shoulder brushes insignia for a general officer on each one in gold is the King\'s insignia GR3with the King\'s crown. The hat is lined and has a leather sweat band. It is about a size 7 1/8.
Perfect for showing off the shirt and waist coat which are not included.A yellow sash comes with the uniform. It gives it that British General \"A smashing good show,what?\"
