A VINTAGE SOWERBY (#2612) URANIUM / VASELINE GLASS TRAY SHOWING UV FLUORESCENCE:

This listing is for a Lovely Vintage Art Deco Uranium / Vaseline Glass Tray.
The tray was manufactured in the North East of England in the late 1930\'s by Sowerby of Gateshead as a part of a seven piece set with the pattern number 2612The tray shows some signs of use and has a chip on the rim (see last three pictures) otherwise it is in good overall condition for its age with no other major chips or cracks visible.
The tray is approximately 302 mm in length, 208 mm in width, stands 26 mm high and weighs 1.10 Kilograms.
When it is exposed to ultraviolet light it displays a beautiful green fluorescence.
Please note that the stand is not included.
