In excellent to very good condition. NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS & NO MAJOR DAMAGE. Some slight minor scratches from storage; some have wear to the labels, BUT all have their labels. Additionally, ALL HAVE THEIR SCREW-TOP LIDS! Most are completely empty, but some have residue from their contents left inside. The talcum powder bottle is almost full. Any flaws, if present, will be either written about here in the condition section of the listing OR visible in the photos. Therefore, you MUST examine ALL of the photos carefully, using the "SUPERSIZE" feature for each, as the photos often can illustrate the item’s condition better than any words can. This sale is for a lot of EIGHT (8) vintage
French ART-DECO era
cobalt-blue (6X) & clear (2X) glass bottles from the
"EVENING IN PARIS"
women's BOURJOIS line.

THE LOT CONSISTS OF:

Cobalt-blue Glass Bottles: Six (6) bottles.
- Talcum Powder Bottle: Almost full with intact (but damaged) label. Lid is blue plastic. Five (5) inches tall.
- Cologne Bottle: Empty with intact (but worn) label. Lid is a gold-toned plastic. Three & a half (3½) inches tall.
- Perfume Vial Bottle with Tassel: Empty with intact (but worn) label. Lid is black Bakelite with a black cloth streamer tassel. Three (3) inches tall.
- Perfume Tiny Bottle #1: Empty with intact (but worn) label. Lid is a silver-toned metal. Straight-sided. Two (2) inches tall.
- Perfume Tiny Bottle #2: Empty with intact (but worn) label. Lid is a blue plastic. Straight-sided. Two (2) inches tall.
- Perfume Tiny Bottle #3: Empty with intact (but worn) label. Lid is a blue plastic. Fluted-sided. Two (2) inches tall.
Clear Glass Bottles: Two (2) bottles.
- Eau de Toilette Bottle: Empty with intact (but worn) label. Lid is a silver-toned plastic. Four (4) inches tall.
- Eau de Toilette Tiny Bottle: Empty with intact (near-perfect) label. Lid is silver-toned black Bakelite. Two (2) inches tall.

Origin/History: Found in the estate of a retired public school teacher; who was a major hoarder. She taught school in rural North Carolina from the 1920s until the 1950s. My parents & I cleaned out this teacher's nasty estate-hoard during the mid-1970s; decades before the "Hoarders" reality-TV show.

Structure/Composition: All bottles are made from thick glass with all but two (2) of them being made of cobalt-blue glass. Most of the screw-top lids appear to be made of Bakelite, but some are metal.

Year Made/Approximate Age: Undated, but style & online-research shows they are from the 1920s to early 1940s.

Dimensions/Volume/Weight: Various sizes, the powder bottle is the tallest at about 5 inches tall & the smallest is about 1½ inches tall.

Mark(s): All have their original silver-toned labels marked "Evening in Paris". All but the smallest bottles have "BOURJOIS" in raised lettering on their bottoms.
