This is a good selection of COMIC / HUMOR Greetings postcards sent for BEST WISHES and FRIENDSHIP. The postcards are VINTAGE from the 1920 - 1930\'s era. The postcards show CHILDREN, COUPLES, DOMESTIC & FAMILY LIFE, ROMANCE, etc. They have humorous scenes and friendship messages, with some being a play on words. The postcards are colorful and have good detail, which makes them fun to look through and enjoy. These postcards are flat printed and they are drawn in color. They are from the same publisher.

The publisher, Bamforth & Co. Ltd., has been publishing postcards and art material from 1870-1990.The firm had offices in England and NY, and they are considered one of the “most wanted publishers” by collectors.In addition to nicely detailed postcards, they also published lantern slides during the late 1800’s, and later even song lyrics.They have had a long career in publishing.Their postcards published during the “Golden Era of Postcards” (1908-1915) are sought after by collectors.

These postcards are part of the various COMIC SERIES that they published. The backs show the following: General, Vacation, Radio, Kid, and Touring Comics.

These are good postcards to add to a collection. They wouldappeal to collectors because of their nice designs, how they capture the artistic style used back in the 1900s, and how they show a glimpse of life back then. Overall, a niceselection of Comic / Humor Greetings postcards.

The postcards are UNPOSTED (6) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1939. These were \"Made in USA\" and they have DIVIDED backs.

These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector.The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition.
