MUELA KNIVES brings you the BISON-9.OL,Model # MUE91779, 7 1/8\" overall length Olive Wood handle and a 440C Blade. I do not believe you will find a better knife made. With the same materials as this one, for the same money. Muela is one of the better knives made today(Spain).These are great looking knives and you will receive one that looks like what you see in our pictures. With beautiful grain throughout the handle, and tightly fixed to the blade with over sized brass ribvets. The Muela line is all Premium Handcrafted Knives made to use and use daily a great (EDC) Knife Full Tang Construction so you know it\'s super strong. The Olive Wood is a great wood to use because it is very dense it like a rock meaning how hard it is, and it has beautiful grain so its a looker too, and they cut Finger Grooves into the handle(safety) Olive Wood has been put on a once a year harvest this just started in 2017 and right now there aren\'t all that many companies using this wood because of its cost, my point is several of these companies will stop making their knives because the cost of the Olive Wood will be going even higher like everything else today. For those of you that don\'t know this,- WOOD is rated #1 for grip and comfort in the Cutlery Buyers Guide, your fun fact for today. Here are a couple more Muela is made in Spain same as Joker. Olive wood trees are grown in spain also, and both companies have more Olive Wood handles than most other manuf. The Blade is very, very sharp 440C Stainless Steel is way up there on the Blade Index for holding its edge, easy to resharpen, hardness 59 to 61. With the Drop Point Blade, there\'s not much it won\'t do if your an outdoor person hunting, fishing, hiking, etc; this knife will do them all, WEIGHS 3.8OZ. It also has stainless Pins and a lanyard hole and comes in one of the better leather sheath\'s you can buy. Muela has been making these knives since 1955 all by hand any knife that is made for this time frame, well think about it I\'d say its one great knife lasting that long. Features;7 1/8\" overall. 3 1/2\" 440C stainless drop point blade. Full tang. Olive wood handles with a brown leather lanyard. Brown leather sheath.
