Rare find.The story of Rosenthal Maria is a love story. Philipp Rosenthal married Maria, the love of his life, in 1916.In the same year he named a design after her. The design was to become Rosenthal's most famous design of the era and one of the best selling porcelain designs of all time. It is one of the very few designs that has been in continuous production for such a long time. Maria was originally produced in white and a few meticulously selected floral pattern followed. The pastel floral design we are offering here is ultra rare and dates back to the 1960's. Maria is made of very durable white porcelain from the Selb region in Bavaria.If you're seeing in our pictures slight variations in color between white and beige that is a result of the LED lights we've been using for the photoshoot.
