Nice Lot of 5 Rare EDISON GREEN AMBEROL CYLINDER RECORDINGS, ALL IN EXCELLENT PLAYABLE CONDITION ALL COMPLETE, With Original Antique EDISON Cylinder CASES & TOPS FOR EACH OF THE RECORDINGS Better than Average Tunes, e.g. RARE VAUDEVILLE, Sousa\'s Band, Edison\'s Concert Band
PARTICULARLY RARE THAT ALL 5 HAVE THE EXACT, SAME ORIGINAL CASE, AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL NAMED TOP JUST AS THEY WERE SOLD WITH, OVER 100 YEARS AGO. This is extremely rare, as MANY CYLINDERS NO LONGER HAVE ANY TOPS REMAINING AT ALL, AND WHEN THEY DO THEY HAVE OFTEN BEEN MIXED UP SO THAT THE TOPS ARE FROM A DIFFERENT RECORDING/CASE. These recordings are made to be used with a 4 minute Edison cylinder player that takes the green amberol cylinders. These recordings all appear to be in excellent playable condition. VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND THEM IN THIS NICE CONDITION ANYWHERE ANYMORE!! All cases are in excellent condition, and as indicated, EACH HAS A TOP AND EACH IS THE EXACT TOP THEY WERE ORIGINALLY MANUFACTURED WITH!!! Recordings in the lot ARE A PARTICULARLY NICE & RARE VARIETY, e.g. RARE VAUDEVILLE SKETCHES, SOUSA\"S BAND, AND EDISON\'S BAND, etc., and other great early popular tunes. This lot contains especially nice GREEN AMBEROL Edison cylinders, not your garden variety average cylinders. They all appear to be quite playable, AND TO BE STILL MATCHED WITH THEIR ORIGINAL CASES & TOPS AS WELL IS ALMOST UNHEARD OF!!!
