This listing is for 5 Packages or 46 individual Vintage Krebs Red Glass Christmas Ornament Balls. Three (3) of the Five (5) packages have some spots where the bulbs attached to the cellophane. We have taken many Photo and marked what was visible in the photos with a yellow arrow showing the condition of this item so you are able to see the exact condition prior to purchasing. About Krebs Ornaments
During the dark ages, German natives in northern Bohemia developed a form of glassblowing unique in the 4000 year history of this art. They learned the skill from wandering Venetian traders, and created glass ornaments to adorn the Tannenbaum for the winter solstice festival. Early Christians adopted this custom to celebrate the birth of Christ, and the Christmas tree was born. After World War II the Krebs Family moved from Bohemia to Rosenheim, Bavaria, Germany, to continue the tradition. During the postwar years our family built a reputation for fine traditional ornaments, developing the exclusive colors and designs for which we are known throughout the world. The American plant, established in 1973, continues to enlarge and enhance this tradition. Proclaiming our pride in quality, each ornament wears the Krebs Crown which is become our trademark.
