Beautiful Antique Victorian Art Painting Frame,mid to late 19th C -made of multi-layered solid wood (heavy), w. alternatingornate, beaded andsmooth gesso designs, in a gilded color of deep gold.
Dimensions: exterior - 43"h x 35"w x 4"d; interior art (rabbet at back) - 27"h x 21"w at largest, can still fit against wood cutout (rabbet) if a bit smaller, see pic of interior section of back art viewed fromfront - 26 1/4"h 18 1/4"w; profile (rails acrossfront) - 8"
Condition: there is age appropriatewear w. light gilt chipping (not much), w. assorted cracking & age spots togilding, gesso. There is some paper still attached to the wood in the back of the frame from theprior artwork
