Item: (5) Rare, Vintage, original PHOTO of the ADAM FOREPAUGH & SELL CIRCUS Parade in Danbury, Connecticut in 1902. The fifth photo is of a tent in the woods near Bethel, CT. There is a sign on the tree that reads GIBSON'S WHISKEY

The Adam Forepaugh and Sells Brothers Circus was a major American circus that operated from 1896 through 1911.

Seen in this photo is their "New-in-1902" bandwagon that was given the erroneous nickname, "Columbia." There is no single allegorical figure exemplifying the name. This carriage was being pulled by a team of ten decorated horses.

The location of this photo was at 249-251 Main Street in Danbury, Connecticut.

Forepaugh-Sells played Danbury twice, June 10, 1902 and July 29, 1907.

This would be a great addition to any old circus memorabilia collectors.
