This pack of approximately 2,3cm X 5cm (1″ x 2″) 0.02 thick brass sheets is perfect for flossing between the nib tines on your fountain pen to keep your ink flowing smoothly.

You can use it periodically when you’re cleaning your fountain pens to clear out crusted up ink or lodged paper fibers from your nib and assure the perfect conditions of your nib.

The reason this brass is so thin (0.02) is to easily fit between your tines without causing any pressure that would misalign the tines.

To use a brass sheet on a nib that\'s installed on a pen, simply insert the corner of the brass into the slit of the nib on the opposite end of the tip.

You can use this brass sheet with an inked or with an empty pen, but it\'s better to floss your nib during your pen cleaning process, and then flush it out with water or with a pen flush.
