  • Description: This is an item we purchased as part of a large Zeppelin Airship related collection. This particular item has four reproduction of early real photo postcards showing LZ-4 2 minutes before it exploded on August 5, 1908, LZ-3 moored to the ground , a Zeppelin airship aloft over an open field, and a Zeppelin flying with many people watching apparently in Leipzig Germany. The cards are mounted on black paper and framed with a painted wood frame and covered with glass. The back is covered with brown paper and has a hook to hang from. It also has the following notation in pencil on the back by the original collector which says \"These 4 P/C are repros at first Did not know did not (we assume the word take is missing) them out.\" Be that as it may, these photos are very interesting and would make a great addition to your Zeppelin related collection. As indicated earlier, this was part of a large collection of Zeppelin related memorabilia we purchased recently and will be listing over the coming weeks and months. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
