This regulator wall clock is a treasure trove of antique history. The clock appears to be reworked, with an Eclipse 31 Day Calendar face & back panel that still hosts fragments of the original label, hands that appear to be from a New Hampshire mirror clock, antique glass with multiple bubbles in the pendulum door , and much more! May be missing parts or pieces. Detailed shots are contained in the listing for closer inspection on items condition. I was unable to find a way into this clock to capture better photographs of the mechanism.
This clock does show wear consistent with its age and repairs. The pendulum arm has a surface crack that does not go through the piece. The wood by the pendulum door is similarly cracked by the hinge screws. The face is flaking and damaged, the red paint on the seconds hand is flaking, and the label is brittle with only fragments remaining. The wood and glass are solid and in great condition, minus light surface wear. The key is included but does not appear to turn clockwise as the instructions penciled onto the back appear to suggest. The key reads “India 6” on the side not photographed.
This clock was said to be operational but is being sold for parts/restoration. Please check shipping rates before offerding.
