3-way (2 circuit) push switch (not a rotary) - works with 2 separate sockets or 3-way light bulb.

If you have 2 sockets (when installed properly) this switch will operate first light, second light, then both on, then off.

This has a 1\" nipple extending out, but we also have 3/8\". Outside pipe diameter is 3/8\" (1/8 IPS).

Knob is not removable.

Main wire with plug: -smooth to black on switch

-ribbed to silver screw on socket

Switch: -red to black screw on socket

-blue to gold screw on socket

WIRING FOR 3-WAY SWITCH WITH SEPARATE SOCKETS (No picture)

-Black wire on switch goes to smooth wire from plug.

-Red wire on switch (comes on first) goes to black wire (or gold screw on first light)

-Blue wire on switch (comes on second) goes to black wire (or gold screw on second- or third socket if you have 3)

-Ribbed wire from plug goes to white (or silver screw on all lights)
