These were published twice monthly by Civil Air Transport for its employees and friends and distributed by the PR Department of CAT.These early editions feature many of the WWII hump fliers and Flying Tigers ofClaire Lee CHENNAULT who wasPresident or Chairman of the Board of CAT when these 3 issues were published. CAT had just begun flying supply missions into KOREA as the Korean War was beginning. Great photos of pilots, staff and aircraft (mainly C-46 and C-47)Beginning text section printed in English followed by a section in Chinese. Photograph captions in both languages.
Printed in Hong Kong on newspaper quality paper, which makes these issues somewhat fragile.These vintage issues are tanned. Edge wear; small creases; writing may be present. Two staples at spine.
