Vintage Teapot & Creamer

This offering is for a vintage or antique small creamer and teapot. The maker is Gerhardi & Co of Germany. Their history dates back to 1796 in Lundensheid, Germany. Founded by Richard Gerhardi & his nephew Caspar.

This pair consists of the following pieces:

1. Teapot with attached lid. Marked 9/8 L on the bottom. The handle is hollow and vented with holes as the images depict. Measures 11.25 inches wide (handle to spout) and stands 6.5 inches tall (to top of finial). The opening measures 3.25 inches in diameter and the main body measures 6.5 inches wide. Some discoloration to the bottom of the interior basin.

2. Small creamer. Marked starburst hallmark Gerhardi & Co 1566 2/2. The creamer measures 4.25 inches wide (handle to spout) and stands 2.5 inches tall. This piece may be newer than the teapot. Made in Germany.

Comes from a smoke free home.
