Published by Taylor Publishing; navy blue leatherette bound with gold embossed print, 117 pages of text and beautiful color photographs, the book measures 12 inches high by 9 inches wide. Commanded by Col. Curtis D. Potts, the 4th Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized) was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from October 2002 thru July 2003. \"The first shots of the war were fired by 4thBDE, 3rd ID Apache Longbows. The effects were devastating.....\" 3d Squadron, 7th U.S. Cavalry was deployed on March 20, 2003, as the lead element of the 3 ID crossing into Iraq.
