Good morning all. Here are2 vintage, Made in USA, small calipers:
1. A Brown & Sharpe No. 835 4\" hermaphroditic firm joint caliper. This has nice joint firmness, and the adjustable leg pin. It had a life, so there is some dark spotting on the body, but it works fine.
2. An unusual Lufkin 3\" spring joint caliper. I cannot find this in any Lufkin Catalog. That might be random, or it might be that these were modified by some former owner. If so, they did a nice job. The spring joint is strong, and the threads are clean.
