It was in march 1934, William A. Weinmann, in collaboration with his son, William J. Weinmann, that he opened the restaurant and bar known as Weinmann's. It is known far and wide throughout the east coast area, and lists among its patrons presidents, governors, cabinet officers, high-ranking officers of army and navy, and many men prominent in business and public life in the Nation. All who come to Weinmann's enjoy the excellent cuisine, and this is truly the favored eating place of so many of Trenton's outstanding citizens. Weinmann's also serves as the home of the famous Tadpole Club of Trenton, whose weekly meetings are held here each Tuesday noon.

Mr. Weinmann himself is an active member of the Tadpole Club and he takes a lifely interest in Trenton affairs. In the business sphere, he formerly served as president of the Dolton Realty Company, of this city, whose holdings are of great magnitude, as is evidenced in the fact that they paid $450,000 in cash for one single building. Mr. Weinmann still owns considerable real estate, notably business property, in the vicinity of Trenton, and his own $75,000 home, which he erected in Richey Place, this city is one of the community's show places.
