2 Vintage Postcards Pretty Japanese Women In Kimono & Golden Pavilion Japan Lot:

Unused vintage postcards by the Nippon Beauty Colour co, Japan, with both English and Japanese printing.

One post card is of 3 Japanese women in kimonos participating in a tea ceremony. The far side of the front of the post card has writing in Japanese and the words “tea ceremony” in English. On the back, along with English and Japanese, two other languages appear in small writing on the upper left corner of the card. The post card is vivid and beautiful—and never used. The back has a couple of small and light marks that appear to be from a pencil. One corner has slight wear at the far end.

The other postcard features a temple surrounded by a forest and body of water. There is no printing on the front. The back again has Japanese, English and two other languages explaining it is the Kinkakuji Temple or Golden Pavilion. This post card also has a a couple of stray marks that look to be me to be pencil.

Please see photos for overall condition, which is excellent used condition. Although never filled out, they are preciously owned and as such have the light signs of wear. Year is unknown.

The post cards are about 4” by just under 6 inches.
