I was told, when I purchased these, that they came from a convent. Both are solid wood, and both have darkened with age. The smaller one features a brass plated plate under the Jesus, and no hanger. This one doesn\'t have a hole, so I don\'t believe it ever did. The second one is a bit larger, and has a ring at the top for hanging. The smaller one sticks to a magnet, so is made from a type of tin composite metal. The larger one looks to be aluminum. The smaller one is 6\" by 4.5\", the larger one is 8\" by 3.5\". Both are from the 1960\'s or earlier. They came to me together, so I am selling them together.
Vintage religious items are so charming; they are imbued with generations of prayer. These two are lovely, with no missing pieces or damage - just age darkening from time and handling.
