THE PLATES WERE SPRAY PAINTED GOLD AT SOME POINT AND HAVE MANY TINY CHIPS (SEE PICTURES). THE BACK IS PAINTED BLACK AND IS PRETTY SCUFFED UP, BUT THERE ARE NO NOTICEABLE CRACKS OR LARGE CHIPS. THESE COULD BE PAINTED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL COLORS OR COULD BE CUSTOM PAINTED. CONSIDER THEM SMALL CANVASES JUST WAITING FOR IMPROVEMENT! THE PLATES MEASURE 13.5" DIAMETER.
