They are not new and show varying signs of age ,wear yellowing from storage in linens and clothing. They vary from 30 to 100 years old even though I would not know if items purchased are from pet free smoke free homes you can figure they would have some type of odor. Unless I state that I have personally drycleaned or laundered them it would be the responsibilty of the buyer to dryclean or launder them. I describe items to the best of my knowledge and put numerous photos for you to look at please use them as part of the description .All Items are sold AS IS and that doesn\'t necessarily mean damage just that they were previously owned and handled.
