This is a nice selection of GREETINGS postcards showing CHILDREN that would have been sent for BEST WISHES and FRIENDSHIP. The postcards have the classic look, and are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s.The postcards show

young children acting like adults. The children seem to have diapers on, and in one the child is writing a letter, and in the other he is shaving with a dog looking on. The postcards have a HUMOR theme.They have good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. The postcards are Flat Printed, and published by ULLMAN.

These postcards were produced by Ullman Manufacturing Co. (1898-1915, NY), who published during the “Golden Age of Postcards” (1908-1915).They first published lithographic novelties and prints, and then went into publishing a wide variety of postcards and greeting cards.They are noted for their “Gold Border” Series.They are considered one of the “most wanted publishers” by collectors.They printed on heavy stock paper and many of their postcards were artist signed.

This is a nice mixture of antique Children postcards for the collector.The postcards are detailed and pleasing to look at. These are truly collector items, and would be good to put into a collection. Overall, a niceselection of Children antique postcards at a reasonable price!

The postcards are UNPOSTED (1) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1906. These were "Printed In USA" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). They have UNDIVIDED backs.

Postcards with UNDIVIDED BACKS were used from 1901-1907.An undivided back is a good indicator of the age of the postcard and its historical significance.During this time period, ONLY THE ADDRESS could be put on the back, and any written message had to be done on the front of the postcard.These types of postcards are collector items because of their age, and because of the limited number of such postcards in existence today.Also, collectors like to own postcards that were published in the beginning years of the postcard hobby.

These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector.The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some of these to have edge wear, smudges, stains, paper toning, cuts and creases because of their age (over 100 years old!).

Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. Because we do not want you to be disappointed, look closely at the photos we provide to see the postcards and the backs. Note these postcards have corner and center creases.
