2 Antique WWI or Earlier English Cavalry Horse Breastplate / Martingale Badges:

We are offering these two English cavalry Martingale (or more properly horse Breastplate) badges. I am not sure which unit they were made to represent and I\'m curious why there would be a horse breastplate badge that would include an anchor! both are in very good condition with the sort of patina one would expect on items that might be well over 100 years old. The one on the left of our photos is a bit over two inches in height and appears to have been gilded. The one on the right (with the anchor) is a bit smaller and less wide and also has traces on gilding.
