Vintage knit fabric from the 1960s-70s......Great Folk Art pattern of Norwegian/Scandinavian Style...in period colors of mainly Turquoise Blue &Orange...
2 1/2 yds x 48\"wide....Excellent Condition. This has been washed. There are no defects or damage or odors.The selvedge was cut on one edge to leave 48\" width.Comes from a clean, odor free, smoke free, pet free environment. Was previously owned by another.
I am no expert on knit fabric, but here is my opinion. I believe it is a cotton or cotton blend knit. Very soft like cotton. Nice and thick with a meduim weight. Not sure if it is one or two layers. One way stretch, which is minimal. Looks to be screen printed on one side as the backside is white. Using a magnifying glass: looks like a chain stitch on the underside, maybe top side as well. The weight for the 2 1/2 yds is 1lb 13oz, if that helps. It is a beautiful, quality fabric. I could see it being used as a nice womens tee or light jacket or dress. The weave is tight enough that it could easily be used for pillows as well or maybe a light blanket. Hope this is helpful, but I will be happy to answer any other question.
