Only copy on the market. This was the first licensed Spider-Man story in Japan. The manga is a completely original reimagining of Spider-Man comics. The manga takes place inEarth-70019 andfeatures the first appearance of Yu Komori, the second character to take up the mantle of Spider-Man in his own series.
This manga came around 8 years before the iconic Toei Supaidaman tokusatsu show in 1978. The story was serialized in Monthly Shonen Magazine from January 1970 to September 1971. The story was translated and reprinted by Marvel decades later, but their reprints were HEAVILY censored and they never reprinted the full story due to mature content, so the only way to see the full story is to own the issues of the original magazine. Manga magazines are designed by publishers to be recycled after reading and were never intended to be collected, making these extremely difficult to find. You can find copies of Amazing Fantasy 15 and Ultimate Fallout 4 any day of the week, but the original Spider-Man manga has been lost to time. A forgotten piece of Spider-Man history that played a critical role in Spider-Man\'s global appeal.
