Late 19th Century Brand new. Digitally edited and professionally re-printed on photo stock.
From a family estate of a gentleman's collection of gay and male related photographs and ephemera. Most items are from the early to mid 20th century and includes loose photographs as well as some pictures that were cut by the owner from an antique photo album.
Digital Reprint
4x6 photographic reprint of a smaller sized carte de visite of a young sailor in his dark uniform. He's standing with one hand on his hip with a slight tilt to his leg to show off his large ... personality through his trousers.
This photograph is much blurrier than what you normally see in this collection because of the enlargement from a much smaller image to the 4x6 size format. I normally wouldn't have such a blurred image, except that it's quite an unusual composition. Please be aware of the blurring in this photo when you purchase.
