If you like loading your house up like a museum, this is the piece for you! Some have popped up for sale similar but not in this condition! The wood is still healthy, being a little bit dry of course. But you can tell from the pictures that it's still holding up very well, and has plenty of beautiful rich browns in the wood, and it's solid! There are Aztec-type carvings on one side of the stirrup, and a very worn lotus carved on the other. Native Americans and many other cultures including Mexicans used this symbol in the past. With all of the research I've done, this stirrup originated from there. And check out how the wood has worn down smooth wear the leather strap would've been weaved through. This stirrup tells many stories just from looking at it! Fantastic conversation piece for sure.
