* ITEM DESCRIPTION
Antique and highly decorative Early 19th Century Porcelain Cabinet Plate. Wonderful hand painted with floral sprays & insects; the well painted with a Watteau scene of a man & woman in a garden and a hunter behind them. The edge of the plate has four sections of hand painted flowers in pink, blue, yellow and orange. Each section is framed with reach gold gilt scrollwork and flowers. With gold gilding along the edge of the plate. Marked on the reverse with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark used by the royal Meissen factory ca 1814. There is a cross slash through the mark. Measures 25,5 cm diameter. An absolute most for collectors!
