This 19th century antique hourglass/sand timer is a rare find for collectors of decorative items. Its unique style and origin from Canada make it a valuable addition to any collection. The hourglass dates back to the period between 1850-1899, adding to its historical significance.
Received this from an estate sale. The sticker on the top of the hourglass states “ apporte de trois rivières par notre fondatrice mere du sacre coeur” (“brought from three rivers by our foundress mother of the sacred heart”).
The hourglass/sand timer has been well-preserved. It will make a great decorative item for any room and will also serve as a conversation starter. With its antique appeal, this hourglass/sand timer is a must-have for collectors.
