OFFERING a 19th Century English Ironstone water pitcher with unusual violet/ lavender color sponge decoration . It is in overall good condition but not pristine when closely examined , still is a wonderful piece for decorative purposes .THE SPONGE DECORATION IN THIS COLOR IS VERY UNUSUAL and in my opinion the flaws are superficial. It was previously sold out of a well known now closed antiques shop in Woodbury , Ct . Please ViEw ALL PhOtOs to MaKe aN iNfOrMeD DeCiSioN . It’s a piece you won’t see often with this color decoration. The flaws are there but of course are more obvious when magnified ...They are not glaringly noticeable & honestly I saw a few flaws for the first time thru the camera lens. I have taken many photos to assist in your taking a careful look .
