Ben and Gene Taylor poses by pool of their Hickory Avenue home --- Ben Taylor was a farm boy in the southwest corner of Missouri. He grew up in the scenery and among the legends of the pre-Civil War, the war itself and the post-war era of the legendary bandits. Not far from his home was a cave where Jesse James would hide when pursuit grew too hot. Quantrill\'s raiders, too, were active in the area. Today he is owner of a prosperous New Orleans area manufacturing firm after a career throughout the Southwest and the area as a safety engineer. But, like so many farm boys, Taylor forgets the hard work and the seasonal hazards to dream fondly of his boyhood in the Ozarks. --- Ben and Gene Taylor will leave their Hickory Avenue home with heated pool (below) for the Ozarks, trout fishing and the antique Jolly mill. He\'s restoring the old structure to full working condition and intends, in the not too distant future, to move his family into quarter above the mill.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches.
