Manyolder magazine text/images were printed misalignedor not squared.
Even within the page, textand images can be skewed to some degree.
Trimming all fouredges doesn’t always fix the issue, and leaves less room to mat.
Asof 3/20/2024 I trim only the single edge that was attached to thespine, at 90ºto the top edge. Theother 3 page edges will be left untrimmed. (In extreme cases, I maytrim excessive damage from the other edges.)
Exceptfor the single trimmed edge, you’llsee the fullpage exactly as it was created.
Asa result, sometimes the text and in-page images may look tilted; thisleaves maximum borders for matting later.
Youcansee the entire page, edges and all, restingon a black border to help you judge overall condition. Novirtual cropping to make it look perfect, no hidden surprises when itarrives.

Garcia-MitchellRods, Reels, Line – a multi-page ad.

The are two physical pages, each page large enough to hold 2 magazine pages.
Each page is shown spread fully open, front and back.
The side with Women in Archery, and Timberline (The Men’s Fragrance) are the front and back pages.
Everything else is dedicated to Garcia fishing equipment.
When the two sheets are lined up and folded together (as they were in the magazine), they make a mini-booklet of 8 single pages, 6 of which are for Garcia Ads.
There are two collage images, each showing the front and back of both sheets all at once.
One is just the sheet scans. The other is the same, but numbered, with the numbers representing the order the pages would be in the magazine.
All the other images are full scans of each sheet of paper, front and back, folded open, so you can judge condition better.

There is a single-page unrelated ad (the Men\'s Fragrance ad), and a single-page with no advertising, on the outside wraparound sheet.

I’mnot sure how to better describe this multi-page ad. If it’s stillnot clear, contact me and tell me which part isn’t making sense andI’ll try to describe it differently.

Theseare original pages from original magazines. Theyare very old, and usually storedin less-than-perfect environments. Foxing,fading, discoloration arecommonandpresent tosome degree. Also corner folds, edge damage, creases, ripples, scuffs,smudgesand other imperfections arenormal.Pagesmay show pressure marks from production oryears of storage.

Imagesare scanned on black background, NOT matted or framed.
Manyolder magazines printedmisaligned withtheiredges. I only trimthe spine edge, leaving the other three sidesuntouched. When you mat the page, you can align as desired.
