1970'S VTG BRINNS TAIWAN CERAMIC HAND PAINTED XMAS SANTA SLEIGH MUSIC BOX IOB:
$59.00

JONESANTIQUES! Description

This wonderful ceramic piece is hand made and hand painted, and comes from Taiwan from the 1970's. It is scarce in this condition, with no chips, cracks or damage, and works great with original box! It is a music box, which plays "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". The music by is by Sanyo, and the manufacturer/distributer is Brinns of Philadelphia. The music box is mounted on wood and glued into the bottom of the piece. Someone has added some extra glue as they tend to loosen and fall out over time. The piece displays beautifully - the paint is excellent, and the piece has no chips, cracks or breaks. There is a gold cord rein in Santa's hands that runs through a hole in the Reindeer's mouth. The piece comes in its original box, and has it's original Brinn's sticker on the bottom. The box has lots of tape that was added, as well as some tape scars and scrapes. The piece measures 7 1/2" long and is 5 1/2" tall. The "snow" base is a wonderful iridescent white. It is a kitschy and adorable piece that would be a great heirloom - fun to use, and fun to pass along to future generations.
