Colonel Schoepper is also the supervisor of all the Marine Corps bands throughout the world. He joined the band in 1934 and has been the director since May 1955. With his elevation to colonel on 1 May 1970, Colonel Schoepper became the first Marine musician to attain the grade of colonel in the Marine band\'s history.Photo measures 8.25 x 10.25inches.
