He\'s a tunesmith\'s delight - singer who can take a song that\'s been through the mill once, twice, maybe even three times, and give it a new fresh sound. His version of \"Honey\" is a good example and now he\'s taken \"Little Green Apples,\" which Bobby Russell also wrote, and made it sound like a brand new sing. O.C. was born and reared in Los Angeles and sang all through high school, college (Los Angeles City College) and once in a while during his four year Air Force hitch. After his military service he went to New York to try to make it as a full time professional singer. At one of his gigs he was spotted by Count Basie who was looking for a replacement for Joe Williams. He spent three years with Basie before splitting to go it alone. You can write to O.C.
