This sale is for an original photo card of Western Trails Miniature Golf which was located at 111th & Cicero in Oak Lawn, IL. The left photo on the card shows the Western Trails drive-in restaurant at night and the photo on the right shows the miniature golf course. The photo card measures 3-1/2\" x 8-1/4\". This card has a blank back except for the Curt Teich stock number \"D-15333\". The Curt Teich printing guide shows that this stock number was made in 1968. This came in a collection from a Curt Teich distributor. Some cards were marked file copies. Some may have been proofs. Curt Teich not only produced postcards, but also brochures, oversize advertising pieces, etc. that were numbered and can be dated by checking the number. I\'ve seen one of these that had a golf scorecard on the non-photo side, so it may have been meant for that. It could have been meant to use as a jumbo postcard, promotional photo, advertising piece, etc. It may have been a proof never widely distributed. The photo card is in very good condition - there is a 1/4\" diagonal bend in the upper right hand corner - there is a tiny bend in the lower right hand corner.
