Here is a rare original MARCH 1966 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20\" BICYCLE! (CB Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) The best color with the SPRINT SPROCKET makes for one of the most desirable Schwinn Fastback bikes out there! This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it!

*The bike is in the original and very appealing VIOLET/PURPLE factory painted color. (A cool color you rarely see on a boys bike) The bike has cool upgraded Ramshorn Handlebars, 5-speed STICK SHIFTER with the \"overload\" tube in place, (looks nice) Schwinn SPRINT sprocket, Schwinn SPRINT derailleur, cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn BOW pedals, (Krate style) and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes. The bike shifts and brakes. (may need fine tune adjustment) Has a nice looking ORIGINAL Schwinn seat with the rear Stingray tag and reflector tab. This one has Schwinn S5 front and rear wheels. The tires are SCHWINN and hold air. (check out the rear SLIK tire) The chainguard is in its original paint and screen!

*This one recently came from LONG TERM STORAGE and has not been owned by collectors!... In fact I bought this bike from the original owner who got it when he was only 8 years old! This bike has been hanging upside down in a local garage here in Wisconsin for 30+ years. It has survived relatively well for its age! (see pics) The seat, shifter, etc look nice! If \"parted out\" this bike is worth way more than the listed price and it all comes together in one package! It would be a shame to do that. Respectable unrestored \"survivor\" type bikes like this, that have not been discovered, are VERY few and far between these days!

*If you enjoy RIDING your bikes, the Fastback bikes are arguably the best for riding! (much smoother than the cool looking krate series of bikes)

*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore! They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out , the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. Be the first to get this bike back out in the light and have fun with it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.

*NOTED FLAWS I got this one pretty much like you see it. I love the fact that this one still wears its original paint! (has chips scratches, decal wear, etc, see pics) I LOVE original paint! The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble. (most every used bike out there seems to) Each wheel is missing one spoke. Rear fender is missing. Front is present. A great investment... You will never see these Stick Shifter bikes produced again and finding one that has been in long term storage is a rare find these days! ENJOY! If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail. Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you offer.

NOTE, Not perfect but has SO MUCH potential. IF you dont want the added \"Ramshorn\" handlebars, let me know and I wont include them. (I will refund $100) I probably have some high rise handlebars I could include. (Nothing perfect but should have some that will work) If you would like that instead, email immediately before I have the bike packed for shipping.

Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
