Home of the Prophet at the time he was killed at Carthage, Ill. June 27, 1844. Lumber sawed near Lacrosse, Wisc. and rafted down the river. No. 3 The Nauvoo House--A revelation was received Jan. 17, 1841, by Joseph Smith to build it and call it the Nauvoo House. An association was incorporated Feb. 15, 1841. It was never finished.
