This week I\'m offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. In Fifties, record companies were taken by surprise by the astounding popularity of rock and roll, and nobody epitomized that success more than Elvis Presley. Topps jumped on the bandwagon and issued a 66-card set late in 1956, showing color (or colorized) photos of Elvis singing, acting, interacting with fans, and whatnot. The set was a huge success, and remains on the most popular non-sports sets Topps has ever issued. The fronts feature posed shots of the teen idol, and the backs feature questions from and answers to the fans. This has remained one of the more popular and sought-after sets for non-sport collectors. Here I have card #49 from the series, titled \"New Member of the Family.\" It\'s in very nice shape with very slight surface wear (see scans for condition). All in all, a set designed to appeal to any collector. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Payment is via PayPal; shipping is $2.25 for First Class Mail, and postage will be combined for multiple winnings.
