Selling my extremely rare original Marilyn Monroe photograph taken by Bob Henriques in 1954. Here Marilyn Monroe is looking so incredibly stunning with an intimate racy view leaning out her apartment window with One Leg Kicked Up.
The New Yorker issue from January 9, 1954 (which has a man ignoring peep-show posters to read a menu) suggests this is one of Bob Henriques\' earliest shots of Monroe, whom he photographed from 1954 (The Seven Year Itch) up through 1959 (Some Like It Hot). Henriques is also known for his Civil Rights and Cuban Revolution photography, as well as coverage of Eisenhower, the Kennedys, Kruschev and Katharine Hepburn. This classic candid is both unusual and arresting, with an elaborate set of reverse stampings and notations including a 1955 publication credit from See Magazine.
