Description

Here is an original VINTAGE mens Schwinn Hornet or Panther? balloon tire bike beach cruiser bicycle frame. I BELIEVE this was made Sept 1952. The serial number is E053589. Add your parts and have a fun OLD antique bike! Would be really cool to use a more common girls bike to build this one up! (build a Panther, Hornet, Autocycle, Challenger, etc)

What you see is what is included. Includes the frame, large Schwinn head badge, AS SPRINGER fork, factory built in kickstand, cranks, seat post clamp, seat post, (NOT frozen in place) original chain, neck/stem, (bolt is loose but I did not remove it) , and everything shown. THIS IS THE PERFECT BASIS for that awesome bike! These bikes are HOT and will only go UP in value!

Easily make this a top of the line Schwinn! Add a tank, horn, headlight, rack, S2 wheels etc!

*DIMENSIONS This is a 26" frame. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22".

This one is factory 2-tone GREEN paint which is awesome! The lower rear frame has obvious rusty crusty patina. Bring back what you can of the paint, (I have personally had success with bikes way worse than this) restore it, or enjoy it in its rat rod patina!

What you see is what you get in exact condition shown. Would look cool as a wall display as well! I hope you have fun with it and can make it into a great ride once again! Be sure to check out all pics and email with any questions regarding condition before you offer.

NOTE This one has a good look for a "rat rod' build or restore it! Use a more common girls bike to build this one.
