Selling my extremely rare original Marilyn Monroe photograph taken by Andre De Dienes in 1952 at the Bel Air Hotel in California. Beautiful shot in excellent condition. It was mounted by someone at one point but this is how I purchased it and the residue that is left is only on the white border and is not sticky and did not affect the photo at all. Size 8x10. Gelatin Silver, double weight, photograph. Produced, double stamped and signed by Andre on back. Absolutely stunning. Very rare shot. Rare Red stamp. Stamped by Andre’s wife most likely after Andre passed away. This is the only signed by Andre one I have. Very rare to find one signed by Andre and this is a live signature meaning Andre actually signed the photo itself not the negative which is commonly seen done with many photographers. All my signed photos are live signatures. Produced from the original negative or transparency. My best guess is this was produced on or about year of issue.
