This classic brass, nickel plated, 1952 Gillette SuperSpeed \"40s Style\" DE razor you are viewing was thoroughly cleaned,polished, and sanitized. Gillette at times produced steel and/or aluminum handles to save brass for the Korean War effort. This razor is an example of that. The grip portion of the handle is steel while the neck is aluminum.

It\'s in excellent working condition. The doors open andclose smoothly, as well as tighten down evenly and securely.

The cosmetic condition is fair to good overall with some small spots of pitting on the aluminum neck and a bit of plate wear/brassing under the head. Naturally this doesn\'t effect the shaving experience.

\"X-4\" is the date code, found under the head, andconfirms that this razor was manufactured by Gillette during the fourth quarterof 1952.

Included is a new five pack of stainless steel blades. Brands may vary.No blades will be shipped with international orders to avertany potential issues with customs.
