Beautiful 1950's Travel Advert Poster. This one was of Cunard's luxury liner Queen Elizabeth. When she finished dodging the bullets of war the luxurious Queen Elizabeth took back to the sea's as a Cruise Liner. one of the first ships built of the White Star Line & Cunard Merge. Unfortunately like many liner's of the time she couldnt compete with Airplane travel and was retired off the Florida Coast. The Coastline was harsh to the ship and in the 70's was sold off and moved to Hong Kong as a floating university. Unfortunately she caught fire and capsied in the harbour. The visible wreck was onpar only with the Costa Concordia many years later. And although just a glimmer in the past this travel poster from the 50's still survives today. Protected in its frame.
