1950 Vtg Pittsburgh & US Newspaper Clippings Album Historical interesting OOAK:

This listing is for a vintage scrapbook album, from 1950. It is crammed full of newspaper clippings, both from local Pittsburgh Pennsylvania stories & nationwide events. It is an extremely cool, pretty much ‘one of a kind’ look back into the 1950s life. It has articles about the politics of the time, the Pittsburgh Pirates, Sports news & stories, and also many local & historical events. The pictures only start to display the breadth of what is covered. It has 24 front and back pages, all covered with clippings, as well as the front & back inside covers. The outer covers display a trio of three adorable scotty dogs, with the word scrapbook in gold ribbon. The binding is in good shape, and has not given out. The paper does have aging, and some light coloration, but no major damages, tears, mold, etc. It measures roughly 15 x 11. Please see photos for details, comes as-is. This piece is excellent for collectors, historians, gifting, display, publications, or even a museum.
